Dear Parents,
Since times immemorial, mighty minds have been grappling with the difficult problem of education. The wise of all ages and of all shades of opinion are unanimous is having us believe that education is the most ennobling and spiritualizing force. It is they say the only tool to tame the animal in Man. It enables pupils to cope with the hard realities of life gracefully and successfully.
Education prepares pupils:
Like poverty, the problem of Education calls for multi-pronged and pioneer-movement e.g. parents, guardians and people from all walks of life must help the schools to have maximum good results.
Public school set examples in orderliness, good taste, gentlemanliness and inculcating, in young minds, the importance of good living, neat & clean habits and restraint. One is naturally pained when uninhibited remarks and uncalled for criticisms are aimed to discredit the contribution of public schools. It does not mean that public schools are beyond criticism but it equally true that they are being hit below the belt. Dog in the manner policy is not a constructive one. Public schools attach signal importance to the service of our country and dignity of manual labor.
To lay the solid foundation for pupils dedicated to the service of society and nation is the duty of Royal Convent School that we all shall discharge honestly.

About School
Khalsa Royal Convent School is located in Guru East Angad Nagar, one of the eminent locations in East Delhi. The school is established with a vision of providing quality education to students. It is an English medium and co-educational school. Royal Convent School is dedicated to provide world class educational facilities to the students and offers education from play group to class VIII.
The origin of Khalsa Royal Convent School must be traced from the seed – thoughts of the Managing Committee of the school with Sardar Dhanwant Singh, Chairman & Director of the school playing the key role of mooting the idea of value – oriented Education. Needless to say that his sacrifices apart, he is responsible for planning meticulously exquisitely in his own typically powerful and yet refined way. He in particular and the management committee in general earnestly thought that at the root of our national ills, there is the lack of right type of education. Public schools are very much maligned these days and the critics may have there own reasons also, but Royal Convent is quite different in so far as it is not running on commercial lines but on the service and philanthropy, the panacea in his opinion is provided by good education.
The aim of this school is to provide a granite rock-base for our future citizens and formation of very good habits that would enable them to weather the storms of life. In brief we have to build character of our kids that would be their unfailing capital through out their life. The school will be a happy synthesis of modernity and the best of principles of our culture that have stood the test of all situations and of very demanding times. Our students are bound to be possessed with all the virtues of head and heart and we have already made a break – through on an ambitious scale. We have cared to cull the wisdom and purity of all our saints, seers and philosophers.
Our Goals
Education beset with the new challenges is preparation for successfully meeting the complex and intricate problems of life in the changing world of the twenty first century. The age old concepts are undergoing a quick transformation with science technology and computer becoming a part and parcel to a new wave in the education. Education is preparation for tomorrows and it has to be made relevant to the needs of our society and surroundings so as to make it justier, healthier and happier. The R.C. at East Guru Angad Nagar has replenished its programs with a scheme of education through Audio Visuals with imaginative programs on T.V and Video sets.

Infrastructure
The building of the school is well designed and provides all the facilities to the students. The classrooms are big, spacious and airy which are also enabled with the facility of smart classes.
School Library
The library is the nerve centre of the school. It provides material to supplement and enrich instruction and guidance given in the class room. As the school caters for a wide range 8 readers, we have organized library services differently at different stages.
In the primary segment the school follows the class library system according to this a set of about 50 books as per the standard of the students are provided to the class teacher. She issues these books to the students by rotation.
Science Laboratories
The school boosts well maintained and fully equipped science laboratories which cater to the needs of the students. These include Biology Lab, Physics Lab, Chemistry Lab and Mathematics Lab. They are places where students can carry out the experiments as per the curriculum that is followed in the school.
Computer Education
Keeping in view the needs of the future and the evident necessity of computer knowledge, the school lays stress on computer as a compulsory part of the curriculum from class two onwards. A fully equipped computer lab with hi tech systems is maintained by the school in the interest of the students.
Auditorium
The school has well furnished auditorium with latest audio and video equipments. The area is used for holding various seminars and celebrating various events and festivals.
Arts Room
An Arts room is in the school, where the students are encouraged to be innovative and creative. The students are free to go as creative as they want.
Music Room
There is a music room in the school which helps in developing the musical intelligence of the children. Children are taught in depth about the music and they are also taught to play various instruments depending on their abilities.
Dance Room
There is a dance room in the school which helps in developing the dancing skills of the students. Children are trained in different forms of dances that include different classical and western dance styles.
Games & Sports
Games and sports is an important part in the curriculum in the school. A big play ground is also maintained by the school for the students. The school provides the facilities for various games which include basketball, volleyball, carom, badminton, table tennis and others.
Transport
School provides transport to the students residing in trans Yamuna areas. However the use of school bus cannot be claimed as a matter of right and the school may withdraw this facility from any student for not obeying the transport rules or for creating indiscipline in the bus.
